The king Kousikar had a controversy with the saint Vasista Maharishi, so he decided to become a rishi by perform penance, he gained more powers and conducted Sri Rama Seetha marriage;

He also arranged marriage for his daughter Sagunthala to the king Dhusenthan; He left his arrogance and got more powers from Vasistrar.

From that day he is being called as Bramma Rishi Viswamitrar and got blessing from Devas.

மந்திர சுலோகங்கள் 36000 கூறி மக்கள் நலமோடு வாழ நாடி ஜோதிடம் கிரக ஜோதிடம் அட்சர வடிவில் வாழ்வில் உயர வழிகள் ஞானம் தியானம் என உருவாக்கி

பின் சிவன் ஆணையை ஏற்றதால் சிவன் கௌசிக முனிவரை இன்று முதல் உலக மக்களுக்கு நி ஒரு விடிவெள்ளியாக அருள்வாய் என கூற இன்றும் விண்ணிலே நமக்கு நட்சத்திரமாக காட்சியளிக்கிறார் கௌசிக முனிவர் என்கின்ற ஸ்ரீ ப்ரம்ம ரிஷி விஸ்வமித்திரர்.
